St Denys Building Work
26 April 2019 - Stud Walls
The stud walls have now gone up and we are getting more of an idea of the space we will have once the work is completed. There has been a delay in new cabling being installed which has halted the work for a bit longer than initially thought.
17 April 2019 - Afternoon Closures of St Denys Surgery
To ensure there is a little disruption as possible during the building works, the decision has been made to close St Denys Surgery, during the afternoons throughout May. This will in no effect you being able to see a GP or Nurse, these sessions will be held at our Mulberry House Surgery.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we feel it is the better option, allowing the builders to move forward with more demolition work, while protecting the safety of our patients and staff.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time.
11 April 2019 - The Chimneys have gone!
So the first part of the build has happened with the removal of all of the chimney pots and re-sealing of the roof. The chimney breasts, in what will become 4 new clinical rooms upstairs, have all been removed. New flooring, cabling and plastering is now the next stage.
Thank you to all of our patients for their patience during this noisy, dusty time!
25 March 2019 - Exciting Time Ahead!
From Friday 29 March 2019, we will be undergoing extensive and exciting improvement work at St Denys Surgery. The work will be carried out over a number of months and all being well, the project should take no longer than 6 months to complete.
As with any building work, no matter how big or small, there will be a level of disruption. The first stage of the works being carried out is on the roof and during this time, due to the scaffolding that needs to be in place, there will be no parking available at the back of the surgery from Friday 29 March to Thursday 4 April . Patients will be able to park in Westridge Road Car Park which is a few minutes walk from the surgery and is free for up to 2 hours. We also have a bus stop opposite the surgery if you would prefer to take public transport during this time.
We very much appreciate your tolerance and understanding at this time.
